Boldstance® was born from a deep belief in the power of resilience and bold action. Its founder, Goldsun Mhizha, envisioned a brand that empowers athletes to conquer challenges with courage and determination, a belief rooted in his own life journey.
Goldsun's path was shaped by early lessons in bravery and self-belief. His strength and resolve were tested and refined during his twelve years of service in the British Army, where he gained invaluable lessons in courage, discipline, and teamwork. Military life taught him that true strength is not only physical but also mental and emotional. Grit, strategic thinking, and unwavering self-belief became his guiding principles.
After completing his military career, Goldsun pursued an Honours degree in Business Management and Enterprise at Staffordshire University, where the seeds of Boldstance® were planted. Inspired by his experiences overcoming adversity, he envisioned a brand that would embody the same spirit of determination and empowerment. He sought to create a company that would give athletes the tools to push beyond their limits and redefine their potential.
In July 2022, Boldstance® was founded with a clear mission to craft performance-driven running shoes that combine innovation, style, and comfort. The first product, the Zitano’s 2.0, was designed to empower athletes to take bold strides towards greatness. Goldsun’s vision was not simply to create footwear but to build a community where athletes feel supported, inspired, and equipped to face life’s challenges with confidence.
