Note: the CM size displayed on shoe boxes refers to the shoe last, not your foot length.

Follow these steps for an accurate measurement:

  1. Tape a piece of paper to a hard flat surface so it does not slip.
  2. Stand on the paper with your feet shoulder width apart and weight evenly balanced. Only one foot needs to be on the paper at a time.
  3. Have someone mark the tip of your big toe and the outermost part of your heel with a pen or pencil pointed straight down.
  4. Step off the paper and measure the distance between the two marks with a ruler or tape measure. This is your foot length.
  5. Repeat with the other foot. It is common for feet to differ slightly in length. Use the longer measurement.
  6. Match your foot length in centimetres to the size chart above to find your size.

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. The Zitanos 2.0 has a snug fit through the midfoot and a slightly roomy toe box, so going up half a size gives you the best combination of support and comfort over long distances.

The Zitanos 2.0 is a road running shoe built for performance. It is designed for everyday training runs, tempo sessions, and race day. At 218g it sits in the lightweight performance category, making it suitable for runners who want a fast shoe without sacrificing comfort over distance.

218g. That makes it the lightest ethical performance runner on the market. Weight is measured at a UK size 8.

Yes. The shoe has been tested across marathon distances and is built to maintain cushioning and support from kilometre one through to the finish. The midsole uses bio based EVA which retains its energy return properties over longer efforts better than standard foam.

The Zitanos 2.0 is designed and optimised for road running. While it will perform on packed surfaces, it is not a trail shoe. For technical trail running we would recommend a shoe with a more aggressive outsole grip and additional lateral support.

The Zitanos 2.0 is designed and developed in Staffordshire, UK. Materials are sourced from São Paulo, Brazil. Final assembly takes place at a certified facility in Dongguan, China. Every facility in our supply chain has been audited against our ethical trading standards.

Over 52% of the materials used in the Zitanos 2.0 are recycled or bio based. Shipping is carbon neutral from day one. The shoe is also part of our Boldstance Renew programme. Return any worn pair and receive £20 credit. We disassemble, sort, and recycle or compost every component with zero landfill.

Our full sustainability commitments are published on our Transparency and Responsibility page.

Yes. Every worker in our supply chain is paid a living wage as a minimum condition of us working with any supplier. We audit against this, publish the results, and hold ourselves accountable. Our full ethical trading policy is available on our Transparency and Responsibility page.

Hand wash only using a soft brush, mild soap, and cold water. Do not put the shoes in a washing machine or tumble dryer as this will damage the foam structure and reduce the lifespan of the shoe.

Remove the insoles and laces before cleaning. Air dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Stuffing the shoes loosely with newspaper while drying helps them hold their shape.

Store your shoes in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid leaving them in a hot car or near radiators as prolonged heat exposure can degrade the foam and glue over time. Keeping them in the original box when not in use is a good option.

Most running shoes are designed to last between 500 and 800 kilometres depending on running style, surface, and how the shoe is cared for. The Zitanos 2.0 has been tested across marathon distances and the materials are selected for durability as well as performance.

When your pair reaches end of life, return them through Boldstance Renew and receive £20 credit toward your next pair.

Return them through Boldstance Renew. Send back any worn Boldstance shoe and receive £20 credit. We disassemble every component, sort by material, and recycle or compost everything. Nothing goes to landfill. Details of how to return are included with every order.
